Michael Barker is an established artist living on the slopes of Te Aroha Mountain in the Hauraki District. Inspired by his surroundings, Michael’s work is underpinned by the unshakeable philosophy ‘natura est magister’ that ‘nature is the teacher’.

It also allows detail and colour to be combined with more subtle results, used with both his animal studies and portraits.

My name is Raewyn Vanstone and I live in the beautiful King country where I can enjoy the rather unique lifestyle of rural New Zealand, surrounded by amazing scenery every day. As I get to look at it every day, I don't need to paint it, so I don't. Instead, I paint what makes me feel happy, using vibrant eye catching colours and simple shapes with lots of texture. My love of old fabrics and bits and pieces, a bit of quilting, sometimes tea bags......all gets put in to my paintings! Then its covered in lots of warm bright colour. I mainly use acrylic paint. I also like to make odd items out of old bits of wire and dabble in a bit of fabric art as well.

Regan Hoban Artist
Born and raised in Taumarunui originally under the maiden name of Poole. Regan's work is very popular and as someone said recently at the opening of a recent exhibition - one to watch. In the Gallery, Regans work is very popular whether it be original Pencil drawings to larger paintings and portraits many of which are currently themed around Regan's extensive world travels. Back in the land she loves, Regan is now a mother of three Children Libby, Freida and Monty and married to husband Guy. Three children are a handful for any mother and this restricts how much Regan can paint and create but this will pass shortly. Regan is also a baker extraordinaire and an asset to the Twin Rivers Community Gallery. Buy her work now before it becomes expensive
