Large carved ‘Totara Burr’ bowl
This unique hand-made bowl is a burred section off the main trunk of an old NZ Totara tree sourced locally to Taumarunui.
Up-close, the burred effect beautifully contrasts against an area where once a branch came through the section, this causes an almost holographic effect in some parts which are quite dazzling.
Round the outside in most parts are in natural condition, this rough texture totally compliments the insides smooth satin Teak oiled finish.
Dimensions: 55cm length x 46cm wide x 13cm depth
