Pureora Forest Waveforms – Mark Tyrrell

About this design

Acrylic on Canvas 2017.

This painting is based on the Pureora Forest and Physics concepts around Wave and frequency.
It’s been bugging me for some time when walking in the bush that there is a pattern there that I haven’t been able to see until recently  I  saw a photo that made me realize that just about everything has a sine wave running through it of one length or another.  I am fascinated by the notion that our perception of reality may only exist because we are tuned into this frequency a bit like a being tuned into a radio station.  Further to that, the famous double slit experiment brings into question of whether matter can be altered by observation and does this mean the fabric of the universe is actually alive at some level?
Available as a Framed Frint from A5 to Poster size
